You can only understand people if you feel them in yourself.

Assalamualaikum w.b.t and good day to all. Our event is just less than two weeks away and everybody is on their tippy-toes! There's so so so much to do and so little time! With the mid-semester break just around the corner, you can imagine where our minds are 😄

So, a little update on the progress. We recently did a second site visit to PEKEAS (I tagged along, this time) so that we can settle a few things with En. Adlan and Cik Shimah and also meet the children beforehand. We were greeted by shy, smiling faces who were beyond excited to see us. I've got a stupid grin on my face the whole time I was there 😄 The children there were really friendly which made my heart ache more for them as I looked around the house. Comparing what I saw in front of me and the ones at home, I was lucky I didn't burst into tears right at that moment. Seeing their happy faces amazed me. They were happy even in the state that they're in, while I would complain and knit-pick on the smallest things. SubhanAllah...

Okayy, enough with the gloomy stuff. Here are a few pictures taken by Mai on our second site visit to PEKEAS. All of the photos were taken with permission. That's all for this post folks!

warm regards;
